WOW: LAUSD to RFP up to 250 schools

LA Times reports that on a 6-1 vote, the LAUSD board agreed to ask for proposals for new schools and schools in need of restructuring.  Monster win for board member Yolie Flores Aguila with a lot of help from ParentRevolution.org and some edu-redemption for the Mayor.  Great news for the LA CMOs: Green Dot, Aspire, Alliance, ICEF, PUC, Bright Start and support orgs like MLAPartnerSchools.org.
